Hi! I’m Katerina Markova, a UX designer currently studying ICT & Media Design at Fontys University of Applied Sciences in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. Alongside my studies, I work part-time as a UX designer, turning complex problems into simple, intuitive experiences. I believe the best design is the one you don’t notice — when everything just works naturally. I’m currently looking for a graduation internship, where I can continue creating effortless, human-centered products that combine functionality and clarity in every interaction.
Originally from Bulgaria, I came to the Netherlands to follow my passion for design — something I first discovered in high school. What started as an interest in creativity grew into a fascination with how thoughtful design can make people’s lives easier. I’m driven by the desire to create simple, human-centered experiences that truly make a difference.
My design philosophy is centered on creating experiences not just for users, but for people. I believe that every interaction should feel natural, meaningful, and human — built on empathy and understanding rather than functionality alone. My goal is to design solutions that connect with people on an emotional level while seamlessly supporting their needs in everyday life.
